As y’all can probably tell, I’m trying to do a lot with this site. News and reviews for video games and movies, opinion pieces, diary entries, religious views, photography, and much more to come. That’s a lot for just one person. Hell, that’s a lot for a single website, but that’s kind of how I’ve always been. On top of all of that, I’m also a full time commercial plumber. I got a lot of plates to spin. You may have also noticed that I don’t seem to focus on any one thing. Well, that’s because I don’t have a real “main focus”. I focus on many different things all at the same time. Not sure why I am this way, but it is what it is.
I want to use this particular article, however, to highlight a newfound passion of mine. Photography. I’ve always been fond and fascinated with photography and cinematography, but it wasn’t until last year that I realized how much I love it. I have an eye for it. I don’t know whether it’s any good, but I do have an eye for photography. I can see great lighting all around, and I know in my head how to tweak a shot, whether through editing or physically, in order to make it look its best. I do this constantly, even when not taking photos. It’s just another thing my mind does all the time.
Despite wanting to take photos constantly, I don’t actually have a lot of time to do so. I work 40 plus hour weeks as a plumber. That doesn’t exactly leave a lot of time for anything, let alone taking pictures. This is why most of my photos are of jobsites. This can be a positive, though. There are so many different things to take pictures of. Great lighting, varied colors, etc. A construction site lends itself well to being photographed.
I’m eventually going to try different kinds of photography other than just landscapes and jobsites, but that will be the majority of what I will be showing. It’s what I’m around nearly 100 percent of the time, so it’s a little hard to get away from. Never the less, I’m trying. In the meantime, I hope y’all enjoy the photos that I put up, as well as everything else on this site! God bless.
